The Murray Grey Foundation and its Military Families Support Fund provides America's military families with financial support and other resources in their time of need.  We assist in 3 areas of need by: 

• Providing financial assistance, education and support  to help military families at risk avoid foreclosure of their homes and preserve their home ownership
  
  

1. Assisting those in need by providing emergency food, clothing and other critical resources 
   
   
2. Providing educational support to military families to ensure their children have the opportunity for a quality education with grants for childcare and school scholarships. 

The needs are great. According to the Military Times there are 3.3 million active military,  over 24 million veterans and 2.9 million disabled veterans. In fact, the number of disabled veterans alone has risen by 25% since 2001 and will continue to rise. 

Those sacrifices that military service members are and have made to defend our country are not just personal and professional, but unfortunately also financial.

Each year, as soldiers go to war, their families, particularly those of reservists, experience financial and emotional stresses. In fact, almost 55% of Reserve Service Members report a loss of income as a result of being called to duty, placing in many cases their homes in risk of foreclosure.
